Your contributions sustain our legacy of excellence in applied, science-based education and research by helping us continually advance our curricula, resources, and facilities. With the Tech family behind them, there is no limit to what our students can achieve, as we  embrace a future of new possibilities.   I am so proud of our students in our College and i would like to introduce you to one of these students, Evan Hodge, and outstanding Nursing Senior. -Dean Gary Kennedy

In these extraordinary times, there are faculty, staff, and students in each program of the College who have worked diligently to make a positive difference on campus and in our community. The quarter may be coming to a close, but for the students of our Tech Family, their academic and professional lives are just beginning. These students arrive with excitement and enthusiasm for what lies ahead, but every year we are faced with challenges of providing the necessary resources to fuel the pursuit of their academic goals and make a positive impact. This is especially true in regard to the complexity and overwhelming amount of information on COVID-19 which has left many unsure about the future. One thing remains constant for our students, the support of the Louisiana Tech family.

Evan Hodges, a Nursing student within the College of Applied and Natural Sciences said, "My last few months as a student have definitely been unusual, but the support I have received from my Tech Family has allowed me to continue strong in my classes. My professors have gone above and beyond in communicating with is to make sure we have the means necessary to excel in my classes."

We are counting on your support to overcome the obstacles of 2020 and provide the opportunities our students need to lead careers and lives. Your contributions sustain our legacy of excellence in applied, science-based education and research by helping us continually advance our curricula, resources, and facilities. When our students succeed, the whole Tech community shares in that achievement. Giving today will help us in bridging the gap between what is and what can be.

With the Tech family behind them, there is no limit to what our students can achieve as we embrace a new year of possibilities.

As a Nursing student within the College of Applied and Natural Sciences, my last few months have definitely been unusual, but the support I have received from my Tech Family has allowed me to continue strong in my classes. My professors have gone above and beyond in communicating with me to make sure I have the means necessary to excel in my classes. It would mean a lot to me if you would consider making a gift to the College of Applied and Natural Sciences today so that my fellow classmates and I  can continue to excel and prepare for success after graduation. Thank you for being a loyal Tech alumnus! -Evan H.
